SIL 4 Railway Safety

The collaboration with Ducati Energia is positioned at the top of railway criticality: SIL 4 level. Our journey started by ensuring regulatory rigor (EN 50128 and EN 50126) in document management and software validation for private Level Crossing (PLP) systems.

However, our added value manifested through methodological evolution. We led the introduction of Polarion for structured V-cycle management and implemented a cutting-edge testing toolchain based on Lauterbach. Thanks to the adoption of advanced testing automation techniques and runtime dynamic code analysis via hardware tracing (ARM ETM), we drastically raised verification standards.

This project certifies our unique ability to combine the strictest regulatory compliance with the use of the most sophisticated debugging and analysis tools available on the embedded market.
